You may tell yourself that you don’t need massage therapy because you receive other soft-tissue therapy such as physiotherapy or chiropractic care, but massage therapy often compliments both of these therapies, speeding along your recovery. We all tell ourselves that we will do our rehab at home; stretch, roll and exercise away our problems, but often what our bodies really need is an experienced massage therapist to target the problem areas and break down scarred tissues to begin the healing process.
Our massage therapists believe in approaching your injuries at their roots, which often means loosening up tightness or breaking down scarring present in the surrounding tissues. With many years of experience and a variety of massage techniques and styles to offer including therapeutic massage, myofascial release, active release, as well as pre-and post-natal massage.
Massage is known to be beneficial to reducing stress by relieving physical stressors and dysfunctions bringing your body to a more optimal state. Our massage therapists will even provide rehabilitative exercises when necessary.

"I have been attending CCSR for over 10 years for chiropractic care and massage therapy. They are very professional, always punctual, and most important - help to fix whatever I might have causing me pain on a given day. I trust them with any muscular/sports ailment I show up with! Thanks all!"
- Verified Patient of Dr. LaBelle and RMT Glynis
Massage Therapy became an important part of Glynis’ life when she sought a way to alleviate her own severe low back pain and stress. She soon realized that massage would be a rewarding way to contribute to others’ wellbeing. Glynis is a graduate of Mount Royal College and has been practicing massage therapy for 20 years. She has over 1000 hours of initial training in therapeutic, trigger point, myofascial release, neuromuscular, relaxation and pre-natal massage techniques and is a member of the NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada).
During her many years of practice, she has taken, and continues to take, continuing education courses in massage therapy. Comprehensive assessment, keeping up to date with evidence-based research, and taking the time to understand the client’s goals are the values to Glynis’ massage therapy practice.
Glynis focuses on posture and structural alignment, tissue release and re-balancing, joint mobilization, restructuring the myofascial connective tissue, pain relief, relaxation, stress management, and therapeutic exercise.
